Staff Information
Teachers
Maria Dimitratos, MAEd., ATSW, LAST -
Maria has experience as an Early Childhood teacher for five years. She is Masters Certified in Birth through six. She earned her Masters from Adelphi University and her Bachelors from Fordham University. She is our newest addition and she works in our UPK classroom.
Rita Santis Larcey, MAEd., ATSW, LAST -
Rita has experience teaching since 1999. She has earned both her Masters in Early Childhood and her Bachelors from Hunter College. Rita also works in our UPK classroom.
Jennifer Acosta
Jennifer has obtained her Bachelors in Psychology from St. Francis College in 1996. She has worked professionally as a nursery and preschool teacher and teacher’s assistant for over nine years. She has worked for ALOD for a little over five years now. She is the teacher in the Toddler classroom.
Jodi Epstein
Jodi has extensive experience with working with young children. She has been a children's yoga instructor for over six years. She also has certification to teach yoga to children with special needs and also adults!
Jodi has worked for ALOD for over one year. She teaches in our UPK, Toddler/Pre UPK and Nursery classrooms.
Christie Mckenna
Christie has live in nanny experience for over twelve years. Christie is in charge of infant curriculum and development. She has worked for ALOD for close to three years.
Assistants
Anna Obiaya -ATAS
Anna has a nursing degree from Poland and has been a nanny for over three years. She is the assistant teacher in our UPK classroom.
Wafaa Elalfy
Wafaa has earned her experience with infants as a nanny for over 10 years. She began as an aide and is now the assistant for the 0-12 month old infants. She has worked for ALOD for 4 years.
Halima Raoufi
Halima has earned her experience as a nanny and daycare assistant for over five years. She began as an aide and is now the assistant for the 12-24 month old infants. She has worked for ALOD close to 3.5 years.
Joanne Bione
Joanne has been a nanny for over twenty years. She has a Bachelors in Psychology from Molloy College. She has a lot of knowledge of infant development. She has been an assistant for over a year and works primarily with the Toddlers with Jennifer.
Anna Hoxha-
Anna has experience as a daycare aide and nanny for over five years. Anna works in all of our classrooms but primarily in the toddler classroom.
Aides
Tina Altaf
Tina has worked in daycare centers and as a nanny for over five years. She is an aide primarily for the Nursery classroom and has worked for us for six months.
Abigail Campos
Abigail has a Bachelors in sciology from Queens college. She has experience as a tutor and part time sitter. She works in our infant classroom.
Entela Pulpi
Entela has had many years of experience as a daycare aide and as a sitter. She does not hold a formal degree in this country but has great experience and patience in our infant classroom.
Marta Bancerowska-Leung
Marta has 3 years of elememtary teaching experience in Poland and 5 years as a babysitter in the states. She works as an aide in our infant classroom.
