A Learning Odyssey Daycare is proud to launch our new sitter and nanny referral program.
Our philosophy is to find each family a caregiver whether temporary or permanent that meets each family's unique and individual needs. Our experience in childcare for four years has trained us in finding nurturing, skilled and safe caregivers. Our experience for over 10 years in family social work brings a special vantage point to helping a family hire a sitter, nanny, tutor and or domesic helper that will improve a family's quality of life and functioning.
A good time to use our sitter services is when:
- Your nanny calls in sick or quits without notice.
- You need a night out on the town to relax.
- Your have a family emergency.
- Your child is ill and cannot be brought to daycare.
- You wish to travel.
- You need a day to run errands.
- You do freelance work and have unsteady and unpredictable work hours.
Our nannies:
For temp sitter services we go to our staff at A Learning Odyssey first. Our staff is CPR, first aid trained and background checked. Our staff has been trained to provide a basic and affordable sitter service without all the "fluff". Why pay extra for services that your child will be sleeping through most of the time? Our staff will provide you with safe and secure tailored care. Our employees are trained in an eclectic array of play based learning techniques and posess strong parent caregiver commiunication skills. Our caregivers do not base their care on any one theory as all children and families are different and require customized attention and care.
If a sitter from our daycare is not available we will go to our nanny network. Our nanny network is a list with caregivers with a varied skill set. The sitter will be placed in a household based on a family's specifications.
