Our Programs

INFANTS (3 months to 2 years)

During the first years of life, children are working on acquiring a sense of trustworthiness of oneself and others. This is the sense of safety and security that comes from responsive and predictable care from familiar others to whom the child is attached to for months.

Infants are equipped with the capacity to understand and feel more that we are lead to believe. In fact the first two years of life is when the brain grows and develops the fastest. These are the years that a good foundation is essential for physical, intellectual and emotional growth. The infants are provided with a warm, predictable environment. We work around their nap and meal schedule. We work with the parent to provide the healthiest meals possible. The infants are stimulated with singing, reading, infant massage and strength exercises. We provide our infants daily with tummy time and room in the main room to cruise and crawl. The infants will be rotated between the infant room and the toddler room with constant observation and protection by our staff.

TODDLERS (24 months to 36 months)

In the toddler years, a strong sense of independence is building. This is a time when a child desires to separate and individuate themselves from their caregivers. Despite this need to become an autonomous individual the child also needs to know that they can rely on their caregivers when they are needed.

When children develop through this stage successfully, they can navigate the real world with confidence and competence. To achieve this, children need a safe environment full of opportunities where they are encouraged to explore and have fun. They need a space where they can be mobile, satisfy their curiosities and enjoy.

The toddler program will nurture, stimulate and prepare your child for preschool. The toddlers will participate in the same schedule as the pre-school children only they will receive exposure to activities that are age appropriate. They will be exposed to numbers, letters, shapes, sizes and identifying everything in their environment to satisfy their curiosity. This will be done through story telling, singing, eating, playing, dancing and exercising.

PRE-SCHOOL (3 to 5 years)

The pre-school curriculum is designed to prepare your child for Kindergarten and provides the same structure and nurturing all our other programs provide. Through fun and teaching we will increase your child's fine and gross motor skills, language/cognitive skills, pre-math skills, perception, self-help/social skills and their emotional I.Q. This will be achieved through various activities such as reading, singing, exercise, drawing, playing with instruments, meal time participation, free play and social interaction the children will have amongst each other.

AFTER SCHOOL

For children in Kindergarten up to 12 years old, we will pick your child up if they go to school within walking distance or receive them by bus. We will play with them and help them with their homework. We can also accept them when they are off from school the full day. This includes all summer and when we are open on school holidays.
